Debrecen Young Single Adult Activities

Scripture Games Night

We began the night with a dinner of Chicken Noodle soup.  Michael came over and made Apple Turnovers to share with us.  They were so good!

Michael and his apple turnovers.

Scripture Baseball Activity

Everyone was given a hint and then had to find the scripture, and read it within 15 seconds.  The person who finished first got to be on base.  The game continued until one person made it home.

Our Theater Night

We all went to this beautiful theater which was a work of art all by itself.  The play was not so great, but the company was!

Our Great Forest Hike

We went on a 4 hour hike in the Great Forest, then returned to the Center for a dinner of Sloppy Joes, chips and fruit.  Following this activity, we were spiritually fed by the first session of General conference.

Palacsinta Night

Tamas made most of the palacsinta's.  He was an expert at flipping them.

Michael gave it a try too!

Elder Cummings was a natural!

Tibi helped too!

Photo Scavenger Hunt

We had a very fun Photo Scavenger Hunt one night.  Everyone had a list of items they had to find in and around the park.
Then, they had to take a picture of their group with that object.  Everyone just had one hour to do it.  Some of the things were worth worth more points, like giving a Book of Mormon to a complete stranger.  We gave ours to a cab driver, who began reading it while while waiting for business to pick up.  :)

Everyone had a great time and everyone made it back on time!
Their reward was hot Potato Soup!
